Kindle Scribe note-taking e-reader is great for work and study
In all honesty, the Kindle Scribe wasn’t quite ready when it was originally released nearly a year ago. But since then, it’s had a series of free software updates that have made it much easier to recommend. It’s actually pretty damn good now.
There are extra digital pencil/brush types to choose from, file management is finally a thing, and a new drag-and-drop feature makes keeping your notes tidy a real pleasure. So much so you will start to think you might finally be done with paper.
As an e-reader, it has a great screen and is great for documents as well as ebooks. It’s a bit cumbersome, but at least you don’t have to turn the page as often – which could be especially useful if you like to read with a large font. Just an FYI, unlike the Oasis and Paperwhite models, the Scribe is not water-resistant.
Today’s deal sees it drop to its lowest-ever price, and Prime Day deals are often cheaper than Black Friday, so this might be your best offer for quite a while now.
