BMW Latest Concept Car Looks Straight Out of a Cartoon


BMW says the word “Dee” is short for Digital Emotional Experience and reflects its goal to foster a stronger emotional connection between the car and its owner.

The concept car includes BMW’s Head-Up Display which projects digital information across its windshield once activated.

The Head-Up display is controlled using the BMW Mixed Reality Slider, the main operating system of the car. Drivers can select how much information they want displayed by touching the sensors on the cockpit panel.

By sliding your finger across the sensor panel, drivers can curate what information they want to see projected onto the windshield.

Drivers can customize the car even further thanks to BMW’s latest version of its E Ink technology. Built-in e-ink panels can display and mix-and-match up to 32 colors across the car’s body and wheels.
