SageView Expands in Pacific Northwest with New Seattle Office

SageView Advisory Group, a retirement-focused registered investment advisor based in Newport Beach, Calif., is expanding its Pacific Northwest presence with a new office in Seattle.

The Seattle office will be led by SageView Managing Director Jon Chambers and SageView Senior Retirement Consultant Tina Alexander Chambers, both of whom relocated from Northern California. The couple will continue to service their Bay-area and national clients from the new location, while introducing SageView to the Seattle market. The office will initially focus on institutional retirement advisory services.

“We experienced incredible opportunities with our Portland office and wanted to establish a stronger presence in the fast-growing Pacific Northwest,” SageView CEO Randy Long said in a statement. “We know SageView will be successful with Jon and Tina leading our Seattle retirement practice in one of the nation’s most vibrant cities.”

SageView, which is backed by private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners, has more than 30 offices nationwide advising on more than $170 billion in retirement plan assets and $4 billion in advisory assets under management. For the last year and a half, the firm has aggressively pursued a mergers and acquisitions strategy as part of a strategic growth goal of increasing capabilities where retirement meets wealth management.

“My team and I are excited to strengthen our presence in the Pacific Northwest while continuing to serve all of our valued client relationships,” said Jon Chambers. “While our focus will initially be on retirement plan consulting, I know our office will expand our expertise to provide a broad range of services in the greater Seattle area.”
